The planner function in the Editor can be used keep track of appointments and applicant/property 'events'. It may be opened either by clicking on the 'Planner' button or by going to the 'Tasks' menu and selecting 'Planner'. The screen shown below will then appear in a separate window to the Editor.

Clicking on the 'Day', 'Week' or 'Month' buttons allows you to change between three different views.

The weekly and daily views are shown below.


The arrows at the top of the planner to the left and right can be used to move backward and forward between days/weeks/months.

Events & Appointments: In all views the planner will show any events entered in the event history of applicants and properties stored in the editor. All events can be edited or deleted using the buttons at the top of the Planner.
In addition, Standard Appointment events can be added by clicking on the 'New' button. A Standard Appointment form is shown below:

The time of the appointment can be changed by highlighting the hours and then the minutes and entering the correct figure.

The day and month can be altered in the same way, or alternatively click on the drop-down menu and select from the calendar.
The appointment may be associated with a particular negotiator or left as unspecified.
You have the option of the planner reminding you automatically about the appointment between 0 minutes and 2 hours before it is due. Tick the box ' Remind me when this appointment is due' and select the required amount of time needed from the drop down menu. The Editor will display a reminder at the appropriate time.
NOTE: The Planner can only remind you about Standard Appointments - Not Valuation/viewing events etc.

Selecting which events to view: You can elect to view only the events associated with specific negotiators in the planner, or only specific event types. Select the negotiator name from the drop down menu, and tick/untick event types as required.

Printing Events/Appointments:
The events of any particular day can be printed by high-lighting the day required and clicking on the 'Print' button. This will generate a Word document, and the list can be printed from here in the normal way.
Tasks:
A second function of the planner is keeping track of tasks. Click on the 'Tasks' button to view the tasks list.

New tasks can be entered by clicking on the 'New' button. The box below will appear and the details may be entered.

Tasks can be associated with specific negotiators or left as unspecified. Tasks still in progress will be listed in red, tasks that have been completed will be listed in grey, and can be deleted and edited using the 'Delete' & 'Edit' buttons.

You can elect to view all tasks, only those associated with a specific negotiator or only unspecified tasks by selecting from the 'Negotiators' drop down menu.

Planner options
Various set-up options for the planner can be accessed in the Editor by clicking on the view menu, selecting 'Options' and clicking on the Planner tab.

Setting the hours of your working day will 'grey out' the hours outside this range when in the single day event view in the Planner.
You may also choose the default view when opening the planner, and you have the option of opening the simplified 'legacy' calendar, which is recommended for PC's running Windows 95 or with below 256mb of RAM.
