You can use the Editor to share property details with other offices using the Editor. You can also share with other portals such as Fish4Homes & Prime Location, allowing you to update your property adverts on these other sites without having to re-enter the information elsewhere. Note that you will have to have an account set up with these other portals before you can share properties wiht them, and they will need to be informed that you wish to update using the Editor. To share data with other offices or portals, you need to add them to the Guests section in the Editor. Open the Guests folder and click on 'Complete list'.

Alternatively click on the 'Tools' menu and select 'Findaproperty agency directory'.
This will bring up a window asking if you want to down load complete list. Click Yes and you will then connect to the internet and download a complete list of all the agencies on Findaproperty.com.

When your download is complete it will display the Findaproperty Agency Directory where you will then have the option of adding Estate Agents or Portals to your guest list.

To add someone to your guest list, open the relevant folder, then highlight the office in question and click on the > button, this will add them to your list of Current guest Agents, click OK and then confirm you wish to update your guest list.

The selected Guests should now appear in the Guests section of the Editor.

To remove someone from your guest list, simply right click on them in your Guests folder and select Delete. They will then be removed from your guest list, and after the next time you publish, sharing of properties previously shared to this agent or portal will be cancelled.
It is important to note that there are two types of Guest: Other estate agent offices and Portals.
Other Estate Agent Offices: If you set up another agent or another branch of your own company who also use the Editor software as a guest, you will be able to make your property information available to them, and if they have set you up as a guest, you will be able to retrieve details of their properties (see 'Retrieving shared properties').
Portals: Sharing property information with portals such as Fish 4 Homes and Prime Location is a one-way process. Once the default sharing level has been set (see below), properties published to Findaproperty will be made available to these other companies who will upload the information to their own sites.
Setting Guest permissions
Once you have selected your guests you can decide how much detail you wish each guest to see. This is done by selecting the guest from the list, then selecting Sharing Options.

This will open the 'Guest Agent Details' box.

A default sharing level needs to be set. This will set the sharing level every current property in the Editor and any new properties added later.
Note: The sharing level needs to set to 'Full' if sharing to a Portal.
To manually change the sharing level for individual properties, open the Property Detail box and click on the Status tab. In the bottom right hand corner click the box to the left of the Guest to change from None to Basic, and again to change from Basic to Full. To add an additional Guest, click on the Findaproperty.com Agency Directory button.

It is important to note that if you have shared properties with a guest, they will not be able to retrieve the information until after the next time you publish.
