Applicant events


Events and communications with applicants can be recorded in the Editor. Open the 'Applicant details' box and click on the 'History & Actions' tab.



From this screen you can view the applicants history and record new events. There are four event buttons:

New Viewing

Record Incoming communication

Record Outgoing communication

Follow up

Clicking on 'new Viewing' button will bring up the 'Property Viewing' box. Details of the viewing may be entered here and saved by clicking on 'OK'.



For sales properties you can also select Make an offer based on this viewing to open the 'Offers' box (see 'Property events').



Clicking on the 'Incoming Communications' button allows you to input the details of any correspondence or phone calls received from the applicant.



Clicking on the 'Outgoing Communications' button allows you to input the details of any correspondence sent to the applicant, or any phone calls made to them. If you have generated the correspondence in the editor (see 'Generating Letters'), this information is automatically added.



Clicking on the Follow up icon (question mark) allows you to enter a note in the Editor that the applicant needs to be followed up. The follow up date can be entered here, and Applicants can then be ordered in Follow up date order in the main applicants list.



Events can be deleted by clicking on 'Delete selected Events'.

Applicant events are also viewable in the lower half of the Editor main screen by clicking on the 'History' button in the bottom-left of the main screen, as well as being displayed in the Planner (see 'The Planner').
