Adding media items

Various different media files can be attached to properties in the Editor in addition to the nine standard pictures that can be added in the picture box. Up to nine additional media items can be added per property. The media section for each property may be accessed either by selecting the property, clicking on the 'Edit' button and then the 'Media' tab,



or by selecting the property and clicking on the 'Media' button in the bottom left corner of the Editor.



The adding and editing media items is the same whichever way you enter the media section.

The media section contains six buttons



From left to right these are: Add a new media Edit the selected media Delete the selected media Move this media item up the list Move this media item down the list Add a virtual tour

Adding a new media: Click on the Add new media button. The box below will appear.



From the type drop down menu, pick the type of media file you wish to add. Next, click on the browse button and select the correct file. Lastly, add a short description. This will appear as the title of the media icon once the property has been uploaded to Findaproperty.com.

Adding a Virtual Tour: Click on the Add virtual tour button. The box below will appear.



As with adding other media items, first pick the type of file you want to add from the type drop down menu. Next select the virtual tour file, and also the separate thumbnail size picture file to be used as the icon for the virtual tour on the site. Lastly, add a short description as with other media items.

Editing media: To make any changes to the details of existing media/virtual tours, select the item you wish to edit and click on the 'Edit selected media' button.

To amend the order in which the media items appear on the advert, use the two arrow buttons 'Move this media item up the list' & 'Move this media item down the list'.

To delete a media item, select the item to be removed and click on 'Delete the selected media'.
